Pina, 65, experienced a pastoral childhood, running barefoot when the Fontanelle area was still made of earth and open countryside.
Her serenity was not shaken when, at the age of fifteen and on the initiative of the parish priest, she first took care of the souls of the Cemetery by arranging and dusting the many bones that were scattered around at the time. Stopping there every Sunday after Mass became a natural ritual, a way of continuing her prayer.
Her place of peace
As an adult, she continued to frequent the Cemetery, a place of peace and welcome, accompanying the liturgies commemorating the dead with the notes of her guitar.
